Life Principles Conference in Albania

In October, Media 7, in partnership with In Touch Ministries, hosted the 3rd Life Principles Conference, a transformative event for pastors and Christian leaders in Albania. This conference, rooted in Dr. Charles Stanley’s Life Principles Study Bible, is designed to equip leaders with the biblical foundation necessary to navigate life’s challenges and point others toward God. Developed over Dr. Stanley’s 50 years of ministry, the 30 Life Principles bridge life’s issues back to God’s Word, reflecting his belief that “It is the Word of God and the work of God that changes people’s lives.”

The two-day seminar welcomed 40 pastors and Christian leaders from Albania, Kosovo, and Macedonia. Dr. Joel Zaldumbide, Associate Director of the Life Principles Teachings Department within In Touch Ministries, served as the main speaker, highlighting the importance of applying the 30 Life Principles for personal spiritual growth, a closer walk with God, and effective ministry. Key topics included intimacy with God, a disciplined personal prayer life, trust and obedience, divine provision, and responding to adversity.

The conference featured engaging teaching sessions, group discussions, and practical applications, empowering participants to grow spiritually and strengthen their ministry impact. Pastor Ilir Qelemeni reflected on his experience, saying, “I am thankful I was part of this seminar. I believe it came at the right time for me. I was deeply touched by the concept that we shouldn’t just believe but also obey. In a few days, we are starting a new church plant in Cërrik, Albania, and through the steps we’ve taken, we’ve seen that after faith, we must continue to obey God and leave all consequences to Him.”

Gentjan, a pastor from Pogradec, shared, “I serve in a small village church in Pogradec. Listening to these life principles has been a blessing for me. Though challenging, I pray that I can apply these teachings as a leader to further advance God’s Kingdom.”

As part of the conference, each pastor received a Life Principles Study Bible and a tablet filled with study materials to assist in sermon preparation and guiding others into a deeper relationship with God. In Touch Ministries generously covered all seminar costs, enabling pastors from remote and financially challenged areas to attend.

This was the fourth Life Principle pastor’s conference we have organized in partnership with In Touch Ministries. It has been a pleasure for us to see pastors in Albania and Kosovo nurtured and stregthened from this very valuable events and resources.

Many testify that Dr. Stanley’s teachings have significantly influenced their Bible study groups and church growth.
