For seven years, the Christmas Shoes Project has brought hope to children in Albania by giving them a simple but powerful gift—a brand-new pair of shoes. What began as a small initiative at Media 7 has grown into a movement of compassion, uniting churches, volunteers, and listeners to share Christ’s love with families in need.
In many parts of Albania, children walk long distances to school with worn-out shoes—or no proper footwear at all. Each December, this project steps into their lives with dignity and care. Last year, hundreds of children received sturdy new shoes along with encouragement and the message of Jesus’ love. One child shared, “These shoes make me feel special. It’s like a gift from Jesus Himself.”
The impact reaches entire families. Liri, a mother of three, said: “It’s not just the shoes; it’s the joy and kindness that come with them. It reminds us we are not alone.”
